Mazal Tov to Nicole and Thomas!

We’re delighted to share that our member Nicole Gershtein married Thomas Ashdown on 1 October 2026 in Liverpool, the city where Tom’s paternal family are based.

The couple celebrated their marriage with a beautiful Jewish Wedding Blessing led by Rabbi Lisa Barrett, a friend of the congregation, standing beneath a chuppah adorned with a tallit in the magnificent surroundings of Liverpool Town Hall. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the intimate ceremony brought together Jewish traditions, two families and a great deal of love and laughter.
